Technology Engagement Events

The Social Care Innovation Programme (SCIP) has been hosting Technology Engagement Events


SCIP aimed to find ways to encourage technology companies and care providers to engage. Between January and April 2022, SCIP hosted five Technology Engagement Events which provided technology companies with an opportunity to demonstrate their innovative digital technology to care providers.

These events were attended by care providers from the East Riding of Yorkshire and included products that supported:

Enhancing Quality of Life

Systems Services (Domiciliary focus)

Communications

The products demonstrated were all very different providing a broad overview of products within each of the categories.

The project ended on the 30th June 2023, we are pleased to announce that through the grant process, SCIP was able to award 82 grants. The evaluation of the products purchased with the grants has been completed and we are pleased to be able to share the findings via an infographic: Click here to view
